McGrath McCall, P.C., Celebrates Silver Anniversary

Do you remember May 1994? Bill Clinton was President and William Rehnquist was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The banking industry was finally emerging from a historical period of bank failures in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Wall Street Journal Prime rate was 7.25%, and PNC Financial Corporation, Mellon Bank Corporation, and National City Corporation were among the 25 largest banks in the country. “The Lion King” was a hit in movie theatres, and Ace of Base had the number one pop song on the radio airwaves. In the sports world, figure skater Nancy Kerrigan won an Olympic silver medal shortly after being clubbed in the knee with a police baton, George Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer to became the oldest heavyweight boxing champ in history (age 45), there was no World Series for the first time in 90 years, and the New York Rangers won their first Stanley Cup in 54 years.

Also in May 1994, Paul McGrath started a new law firm called McGrath & Associates, P.C. Paul’s vision was to create a firm that principally focused on serving the needs of financial institutions, businesses and real estate clients. The fledgling firm offered the knowledge, experience and sophistication of a major metropolitan firm with the customer service and attention to detail of a boutique practice. Like the clients the firm desired to serve, Paul saw an opportunity, formulated a strategy, and transformed an idea into an organization. The firm Paul created eventually became known as McGrath Law Group, P.C., and now, McGrath McCall, P.C. 25 years later, the firm continues its mission to serve its clients with the highest degree of professionalism, skill, and attention to detail.

We are extremely proud to be celebrating the firm’s 25th anniversary. The incredible support of our clients, coupled with the hard work and dedication of our employees, have been instrumental in helping the firm achieve this milestone. We’re looking forward to another 25 years and beyond!
