Bethany A. Bauer
Bethany Bauer is an associate attorney at McGrath McCall, P.C. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Bethany spent three years working at McGrath McCall, P.C. as a law clerk, where she gained valuable experience in all of the firm’s practice areas. Bethany principally represents financial institutions, corporations and developers in a variety of transactional and litigation matters, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, real estate contracts and documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and business formation documents; consummating real estate and business acquisition and sale transactions and enforcing and protecting creditors’ rights in mortgage foreclosure, collection actions, and bankruptcy cases.
Bethany obtained her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2022, graduating in the top 25% of her class. While at Duquesne Law, Bethany was a member of the Urban Development Practicum, where she provided a broad range of legal services related to real estate and economic development in distressed communities in the region, including drafting and preparing deeds for clients, title searches, tangle title issues, zoning issues, and general real estate matters. This experience allowed Bethany to work closely with several neighborhood and regional urban renewal organizations in Allegheny County. In addition, Bethany was a member of PILA, the Women’s Law Association, and the Trial Advocacy Program during her time at Duquesne Law.
Bethany also graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. Bethany was named “Top Concentrator in Law and Politics” from the Class of 2019. In her free time, Bethany enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
